The Castle (3700 sqm / 39826 sq.ft) is one of Italy’s most beautiful monuments and it is considered one of the most scenic and extraordinary castles in the world. The castle is located in a very easily accessible position : it is only 500 m. far from the A5 TO-AO.

In this castle, as in other manors of the Canavese area, the most popular and celebrated historical figure is Arduino, king of Italy in the medieval period. The name of this monarch is the same that can be admired on the panelled ceilings that decorate the interiors, with paintings and animal figures. Inside the castle, next to the internal courtyard, there is a small chapel, that was built contemporary to the original building.

Entro le storiche possenti mura, il meraviglioso Cortile Nobile con il suggestivo Pozzo dei Misteri, sale e saloni di incommensurabile bellezza ed il rigoglioso Parco Tropicale capace di accogliere fino a 300 ospiti. Il Castello si erge maestoso sulla sommità del paese offrendo panorami di grande bellezza. E' considerato per le sue vicende un Castello fortunato; si racconta che trasmetta fortuna, amore e prosperità a tutti coloro che vi soggiornano anche se per breve tempo. Il castello viene edificato fra il IX secolo e l'XI secolo.
Nel 1981 viene dichiarato monumento nazionale. Nel 1991 viene acquistato dalla società attuale proprietaria che lo restaura e adibisce a struttura ricettiva (albergo e ristorante) e centro congressi e in parte ad abitazione. La struttura fa anche suggestivamente da sfondo a rievocazioni storiche, come le ferie medioevali che si tengono a giugno. Anche in questo, come in altri manieri del Canavese, ad essere evocata maggiormente è la figura di Arduino re dell'Italia medioevale. In questo caso, il nome del sovrano è lo stesso attribuito al soffitto a cassettoni che decora gli interni vi sono ritratti personaggi e figure di animali. Interna al castello, a lato della corte, è una piccola chiesa coeva dell'edificazione originaria.

Das Schloss steht majestätisch auf der Spitze des Dorfes und bietet eine Aussicht von großer Schönheit. Die Burg wurde zwischen dem 9. Jahrhundert und dem 11. Jahrhundert erbaut.
1981 wurde er zum Nationaldenkmal erklärt. Im Jahr 1991 wurde es von der jetzigen Eigentümergesellschaft gekauft, die es restauriert und als Unterkunft (Hotel und Restaurant) und Kongresszentrum und teilweise als Wohnung dient. Die Struktur erinnert auch an historische Reenactments, wie die mittelalterlichen Feiertage im Juni. Auch in dieser, wie in anderen Canavese Manor, wird die Figur von Arduino, König des mittelalterlichen Italiens, am meisten erwähnt. In diesem Fall ist der Name des Souveräns derselbe wie die Kassettendecke, die die Innenräume darstellt, sind dargestellte Charaktere und Tierfiguren. Im Inneren des Schlosses, auf der Seite des Hofes, befindet sich eine kleine zeitgenössische Kirche des ursprünglichen Gebäudes.
